"Setsugekka (The End of Silence)/Zan" (雪月花 -The end of silence-/斬~ZAN~?) is Japanese recording artist Gackt's thirty-sixth single. It was released on December 9, 2009 by his record label DEARS. Both A-sides are theme songs for the video game Samurai Warriors 3.

Music video

Gackt announced he has chosen three members from popular visual kei bands to be featured in the music video of single. These members will be Ni-ya from Nightmare on bass, Tsukasa from D'espairsRay on drums and Shun from Duel Jewel on guitar. You, from his supporting band GacktJob, will fill the second guitarist spot. Gackt has even stated that this promotional video will be perhaps the best of his videos so far recorded.[1]

  1. ^ "Setsugekka" (雪月花?), while literally meaning "snow, moon, and flowers", comes from a poem by Bai Juyi and is used to describe serene beauty. "Setsugekka" is also the name of the white cultivar of the Okinawan Camellia sasanqua flower.
